By accessing or using CareerRise, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

2. Use of Service

CareerRise is a career management tool for logging wins, tracking growth, and preparing for reviews. You agree to use the service lawfully and not to misuse or interfere with its operation.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Free Access

CareerRise is currently available at no charge. We may introduce optional paid offerings in the future with advance notice.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of CareerRise are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software without permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

CareerRise is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

7. SMS Messaging Program

CareerRise offers optional SMS (text message) functionality. If you opt in, you may receive weekly reminders and account-related messages from CareerRise, and you may text the CareerRise number directly to log work contributions, which are saved to your CareerRise account.

• SMS participation is entirely optional and requires your express consent, which you provide by verifying your mobile number in Settings.
• Message frequency may vary depending on your activity and reminder settings.
• Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.
• Reply STOP at any time to opt out and unlink your number.
• Reply HELP for assistance, or email support@careerrise.app.
• Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of any purchase or of using CareerRise.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

CareerRise processes the content you send by SMS in order to provide the logging functionality and to associate those messages with your CareerRise account. We do not sell or share SMS opt-in or consent information with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of CareerRise after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
